After Seago No. 1

The first oil painting I ever did was this Edward Seago study of a snowy landscape.

Filled with the lilac and peach hues, the painting beautifully captures the rising sun over a snow-covered field. It is both peaceful and quietly magical. 

I couldn't have asked for a better start to oils.
