Bridge Near Bohinj, Slovenia

If you've ever travelled a little further out than Lake Bled in Slovenia, then you might have visited Lake Bohinj. It is a beautiful, peaceful landscape filled with far fewer people and a lot more space to enjoy the turquoise waters, amazing alps and sounds of nature. 

This small artwork is a memento of my trip there. It was inspired particularly by a walk along the Zlatorog Fairy Trail. I didn't meet any fairies but it sure felt magical to sit on a bench by a running stream with barely anyone around and just dappled sunlight, a wooden bridge and water for company.
