Summer Arches

I love a tan as much as the next person but sometimes that European sun is relentless. This mini oil pastel painting pays tribute to every arch (and there have been many) that offered momentary shelter - all whilst looking so pretty. 

Warm, bronze tones capture the beating heat and beautiful architecture whilst the dashes of lilac infuse the art with a sense of coolness.
